Where Operations, Intelligence and Entrepreneurship Meet

I build systems that make complex work visible, understandable and easier to act on.

That thread has taken me from plant-floor supply chains and smart manufacturing to global inventory networks, Canadian transportation analytics and now ExpenIQ, a business-record platform being built for self-employed Canadians and small businesses.

ExpenIQ is not a departure from my professional journey. It is the next expression of it: understand the real workflow, identify where information breaks down, create visibility, reduce friction and build a system people can trust.

A Mechanical Engineer and Global Business Management graduate with 7+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, and data-driven operations across the automotive and FMCG industries — spanning global organizations including Daimler Trucks Asia, Ford Motor Company, and Mondelēz International.

At Daimler Trucks Asia, I started on the supply chain floor — managing inventory, production planning, supplier coordination, and quality collaboration at one of Asia's largest manufacturing plants (400 acres). I planned safety stock levels, coordinated supplier deliveries, monitored material flow, and resolved shortages to maintain uninterrupted production. I then contributed to Lean and Six Sigma improvement projects, analyzing forecasting inputs and inventory KPIs to optimize performance.

I later moved into the IT Production & Logistics function, contributing to Supply Chain 4.0 and manufacturing digitalization — supporting MES operations, SAP/ERP integration with IoT platforms (Rockwell Automation), and enabling connected factory capabilities through centralized kitting, Just-In-Sequence, and E-Kanban implementations.

At Ford Motor Company, I managed inventory planning and supplier coordination for 60,000+ service parts — sourcing internationally from the US, China, Taiwan, and Thailand, and delivering across Spain, England, Germany, and wider Europe — maintaining a 99% fill rate and contributing to €60,000 in cost savings.

Now at Mondelēz International, I focus on transportation analytics, logistics performance, and network efficiency across Canada — collaborating with 15+ carrier partners spanning Eastern & Western Canada, Ontario, and Quebec. Through cross-functional data collaboration, I helped improve national OTIF from 83% to a record 94.5%. My interest lies in leveraging data, analytics, and AI to transform supply chain decision-making and build intelligent logistics systems.

Building the business-record operating system behind Canada’s builders

ExpenIQ is a private-beta Canadian business-record platform for self-employed people and small businesses building one venture or several.

It brings the record side of those ventures into one connected workspace: expenses, income, receipts and supporting context, GST/HST, vehicle records, workspace costs, capital assets, review items, month close and accountant handoff.

Sanitized ExpenIQ dashboard showing record quality, review, monthly overview and accountant-handoff workflows
Authentic product interface shown with identifying information and transaction details excluded.
Why we started
We started with a belief: every person should be free to turn a skill, passion or second chance into something valuable, one business or several, without administration becoming another full-time job.

ExpenIQ exists to reduce the record-keeping friction behind entrepreneurship so Canada’s builders can spend more of their energy building.

The customer problem

Capable people carry too much disconnected operational detail.

Self-employed people often operate through disconnected spreadsheets, receipt folders, mileage apps, camera rolls and year-end reconstruction.

The problem is not a lack of ambition. The problem is the operational friction created by the records behind it.

The product system

One connected record journey

Designed around the complete record journey, not one isolated feature.

  1. Capture
  2. Classify
  3. Document
  4. Review
  5. Close
  6. Export
Keep together

My role

Co-Founder and Product Builder

  • Product strategy and positioning
  • Customer-problem definition
  • Canadian business-record domain modelling
  • Multi-venture product architecture
  • UX and workflow direction
  • AI-assisted product-development governance
  • Security, privacy and semantic-safety review
  • Accountant-handoff product design
  • Brand, storytelling and launch strategy

I apply the same systems thinking I used in global operations: map the complete flow, identify where information and accountability break down, create visibility and improve the system through small, evidence-backed changes.

Principles for useful, trustworthy systems

01

AI should accelerate judgment, not replace it.

AI can increase research and execution speed. Important product, security, privacy, tax-domain and release decisions still require evidence and accountable human review.

02

Trust is architecture.

In financial-record software, security, privacy, customer-data separation, truthful language, review gates and recovery paths are product requirements, not launch-day additions.

03

Design the lifecycle, not the isolated screen.

A useful product connects capture, classification, documentation, review, close and handoff rather than optimizing one attractive feature in isolation.

04

Make uncertainty visible.

Unknown, incomplete or review-needed information should remain explicit. The interface should never invent tax certainty to create a prettier experience.

05

Evidence compounds.

Small, documented and reviewable decisions make each future improvement safer, faster and easier to understand.

The goal is not to make software appear intelligent. The goal is to build a system that becomes more useful, trustworthy and extensible because the way it is built compounds.
